Larcier-Intersentia has been a reference in legal, tax and accounting publishing since 1839. As part of the Lefebvre Sarrut group, we combine that heritage with ongoing investment in digital tools such as GenIA-L, Strada lex and Taxwin — helping legal and tax professionals work smarter, without replacing the depth of our traditional publications.
We are now establishing a dedicated commercial unit in Luxembourg, and are looking for a
Business Development Director
to consolidate our existing presence there and build it into a structured, growing business.
Your role
- You take ownership of our existing Luxembourg business and consolidate it into a dedicated commercial structure: you define the go-to-market strategy, set targets and KPIs, and track performance against them.
- Once the foundation is in place, you recruit, coach and lead a small commercial team (Account Managers) to grow with you.
- You will manage a small local sales team, and actively take part in developing new business— law firms, tax advisory firms, corporate legal & tax departments, public institutions and academia — and lead by example in bringing in big clients.
- You build a genuine network within the Luxembourg legal and tax ecosystem and represent the company at relevant events and initiatives.
- You work closely with Product, Marketing and Editorial to make sure our offering keeps matching what the Luxembourg market needs.
Your profile
- 10 to 15 years of experience in B2B sales or business development, including experience building or scaling a sales organisation.
- A hands-on operator: someone who builds pipeline and closes deals personally, not only through a team.
- Experience setting and following up commercial KPIs and forecasts.
- Comfortable operating with a high degree of autonomy in a newly created structure.
- Fluent in English; native or fluent in French. Luxembourgish is a strong asset, German is a plus.
- A network within the Luxembourg legal, tax or professional services world is an asset.
- Experience in LegalTech, professional information services or SaaS/subscription businesses is a plus, but not a requirement.
What we offer
- A founding leadership role with real autonomy to shape and grow the Luxembourg market.
- The backing and resources of an international publishing group, combined with the freedom of a start-up structure.
- A company car.
- A modern office in the heart of Luxembourg City.
