As our Water product portfolio continues to grow, we are looking for a Project & Compliance Manager (PCM) to create structure, visibility and accountability across product lifecycle and compliance activities within the business. The PCM is responsible for driving the execution of new product introductions, enhancements, replacements, phase-outs and other strategic initiatives affecting the Water portfolio. The role also ensures regulatory, compliance and approval requirements are proactively identified, planned and managed, reducing business risk and avoiding last-minute reactive activities. Working closely with Product Managers and cross-functional teams, the PCM ensures projects remain on track, stakeholders remain aligned, actions are completed on-time and compliance obligations are managed effectively. The primary objectives of the role are:
- Drive successful execution of product launches, product changes, compliance activities, and strategic Water portfolio initiatives
- Own project execution and compliance coordination, enabling Product Managers to focus on strategy, development, and portfolio management
- Coordinate cross-functional activities, ensuring timely completion of agreed actions and sustained project momentum Additionally, this role will work on the following secondary objectives:
- Drive responses to regulatory, compliance, and product approval requirements affecting the Water business
- Establish governance, processes, and reporting to improve visibility of project progress, compliance requirements, and risks The main responsibilities of this position are: Project execution & coordination
- Develop and maintain project plans, including scope, milestones, timelines, responsibilities, and deliverables
- Drive new product introductions, product improvements/replacements, and product phase-out projects
- Coordinate project activities across key functions and stakeholders
- Drive project action lists, ensuring timely task delivery through proactive stakeholder follow-up
- Identify project risks, delays, and bottlenecks, driving timely resolution or escalation
- Facilitate project meetings, ensuring clear documentation and communication of decisions and actions
- Provide regular project updates, highlighting risks, delays, and resource requirements
- Coordinate product launch activities, ensuring readiness for successful market introduction
- Manage product replacement and phase-out projects, ensuring smooth stakeholder transitions Compliance & approvals
- Monitor regulatory, legislative, and market access requirements across the Water portfolio
- Maintain visibility of emerging compliance requirements and potential business impacts
- Coordinate activities to ensure compliance with REACH and other applicable regulations
- Coordinate product approvals, certifications, and listings with internal and external stakeholders
- Ensure compliance and approval requirements are embedded in project plans and business processes
- Maintain compliance roadmaps, action plans, and supporting documentation
- Support implementation of policies, procedures, and governance processes for consistent compliance management Continuous improvement
- Improve project management, compliance, and governance processes to increase efficiency and visibility
- Promote ownership, accountability, and timely execution across project teams
- Drive improvements in coordination, communication, and cross-functional collaboration Location & reporting The candidate would ideally be based in our headquarters in Luxembourg, or one of Viking EMEA offices. The role reports to the Head of Product Line – Water and may require occasional travel across the EMEA. Qualifications and

experience:

- A technical, engineering, scientific or business-related qualification
- Experience coordinating projects, programs or business initiatives involving multiple stakeholders
- Proven track record of driving actions to completion and maintaining progress across complex cross-functional activities
- Ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines and competing priorities simultaneously
- Ability to work with technical, commercial and operational stakeholders across different functions
- Experience creating and maintaining project plans, tracking progress and managing project risks
- Experience with compliance, regulatory, certification or approval processes is advantageous
- Experience within a manufacturing, engineering, technical or industrial environment fire protection industry experience is an advantage
- Knowledge of product development, product lifecycle management or stage-gate processes is desirable
- Fluency in English. Any additional European language is a plus Personal characteristics:
