The company:
Infrassocs is partnering with a leading international long-term infrastructure investor on a new Junior Investment Manager role. The business is backed by a large institutional shareholder with 300 billion AUM and focuses on stable, essential infrastructure assets across developed markets.
Key responsibilities
- Build and analyse financial models, valuations, and investment cases
- Conduct due diligence, risk assessment, and commercial analysis
- Coordinate with internal teams, lenders, and external advisors throughout transactions
- Prepare investment committee materials, presentations, and transaction documentation
- Evaluate new investment opportunities and support pipeline development
- Monitor market trends, comparable transactions, and sector developments
- Help maintain relationships with key stakeholders, advisors, and partners
- Support portfolio analysis and benchmarking activities Experience & background:
- 4-6 years of relevant experience in infrastructure investing, project finance, or infrastructure advisory (experience gained at an infrastructure fund would be seen as a plus)
- Excellent analytical and numerical skills, i.e. ability to build / understand complex financial models is essential; strong MS Excel skills are a must
- Highly proficient in interrogating and analysing financial models which have been prepared by others, and comfortable with adapting / manipulating them
- Strong commercial judgment and ability to assess risk-return dynamics
- Solid understanding of the infrastructure asset classes with a preference for direct experience in super core and core assets
- Experience working in competitive bid environments is advantageous
