Description
Paperjam, founded in 1994 by Mike Koedinger, has become Luxembourg’s most influential independent media and business platform. Beyond being a trusted source for economic, financial, and political journalism, Paperjam acts as a catalyst for innovation, community, and the country’s development.
Its main activities:
- Paperjam News: reliable and relevant coverage of economic, financial, and political topics.
- Paperjam Club: Luxembourg’s leading private business club, offering conferences, workshops, networking, and an academy.
- Paperjam Advertising: an advertising agency specializing in targeted, high-impact campaigns.
- Paperjam Studio: a creative agency helping brands with storytelling and visual communication. In short: Paperjam positions itself as an independent, influential, and forward-looking player, shaping a progressive Luxembourg. # We are looking for a talented Digital Project Manager – Delivery & Quality (m/w/x). ## Your role You manage how the team delivers. You structure the sprints, keep the backlog clean, follow progress closely, and decide whether a release is ready to ship. You work directly with the Head of Digital & Platform, four engineers, and the business teams whose requests you triage. Concretely, you will:
- Own and prioritise the backlog, in alignment with the Head of Digital & Platform.
- Plan the sprints: sequencing, capacity, dependencies.
- Follow delivery day to day and raise risks early, rather than discovering them at the demo.
- Make sure every ticket entering a sprint is scoped and has a written definition of done.
- Define the test coverage for each release and hold the go/no-go. Today our QA is mostly manual; a key objective of your first year is to structure it and bring in automation with the developers.
- Triage requests from sales, editorial and direction: prioritise, push back when needed.
- Run the team rituals: standups, retros, release notes. ## About you
- 3+ years in digital project or delivery management, in a product or engineering environment.
- You have owned a backlog and run sprints yourself, ideally on Jira.
- You know what a test plan is and what automating one involves, even if you don't write the code.
- You follow up without being asked to. You chase, you close loops, you keep commitments visible.
- You can say no to vague requests, unrealistic deadlines, or a release that isn't ready.
- Fluent English and French.
- Salesforce, web analytics or AWS exposure is a plus. ##
We offer
you
- A company with an excellent reputation and deeply rooted in the economic fabric of Luxembourg and the Greater Region;
- A stimulating environment where your contribution directly impacts the growth and reputation of the leading business club in Luxembourg;
- Ideally located offices in Luxembourg City, just a 5-minute walk from the central train station;
- A permanent full-time contract (40 hours/week);
- Start date: to be agreed upon. ## To apply Are you interested in the challenge? Please send us your application file (CV, cover letter, etc.). Each application will be treated with the utmost confidentiality.
