We’re looking for a
DLP Engineer
(m/f) to join our client in Luxembourg.
Location:
Luxembourg Mode: On-site with teleworking flexibility after the first 1-3 months. Contract: CDI Language requirement: Fluent French & English.

Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years' experience in Data Loss Prevention, Data Security, or Cyber Security Engineering.
- Hands-on experience deploying and administering enterprise DLP solutions (endpoint, network, and cloud).
- Strong understanding of DLP detection techniques including Regex, Fingerprinting, EDM/IDM, and Machine Learning-based classification.
- Experience tuning DLP policies to improve detection quality and minimize false positives.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 and cloud collaboration platforms.
- Experience working in a Blue Team or Security Operations environment, including incident response.
- Good understanding of networking concepts (Layer 4–7, HTTP(S), SMTP, TLS inspection, firewalls, ICAP, Web Security Gateway).
- Knowledge of SaaS security, Shadow IT, CASB, SIEM, and ITSM platforms.
- Understanding of data governance concepts including classification, labeling, and data lifecycle management.
- Scripting or automation experience with PowerShell, Python, REST APIs, or SIEM integrations is highly desirable.
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.
- Experience within the banking or financial services sector is an advantage.
- Fluent French with strong English communication skills.
Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain enterprise Data Loss Prevention (DLP) solutions across endpoint, network, and cloud environments.
- Define, configure, and optimize DLP policies to improve detection accuracy and reduce false positives/negatives.
- Monitor, investigate, and resolve DLP alerts and incidents related to data protection.
- Collaborate with Threat Detection & Response (TDR), Blue Team, and infrastructure teams to strengthen data security.
- Support the evolution and continuous improvement of the organization's data protection capabilities.
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues across DLP platforms and integrations.
- Ensure data protection controls align with security policies, compliance requirements, and business needs.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, procedures, and operational guidelines.
- Promote security awareness and advise business stakeholders on DLP best practices.
