MIBL provides a wide range of financial services to institutional investors including depositary, custody, fund administration and other banking-related services. Responsibilities : As member of the Internal Audit team, you will:
- Assist the Chief Internal Auditor to periodically document the risk assessments of the Audit Universe.
- Assist the Chief Internal Auditor to develop and implement the pluriannual audit plan.
- Participate in audit missions, develop specific audit programs applying internal audit standards.
- Perform audit field work, prepare working papers.
- Prepare draft audit findings and recommendations, draft internal audit reports under the supervision of the Chief Internal Auditor.
- Assist in communicating results of internal audit work to the auditee.
- Monitor the follow up of the open recommendations.
- Participate to the ongoing quality improvements of internal audit processes.
- Assist the Chief Internal Auditor on the periodic External Quality Assurance review. Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree or higher; preferably business administration, finance.
- Experience in internal audit, compliance or risk management function.
- At least 5 years’ experience in the banking and financial areas in Luxembourg.
- Strong working knowledge of Luxembourg’s regulatory environment.
- Very good knowledge of audit techniques.
- Demonstrate autonomy, team spirit and accountability to work on within a small team.
- Flexible, multi-tasks and good organisational skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to interact with people.
- Fluency in English is essential, French would be beneficial.
- Good understanding on Bank’s computer systems and information security aspects.
- Strong command of Microsoft Office tools. Pay range and compensation package : 77k-81k
