MTM Partners is a Luxembourg-based firm specialising in project management, interim management and recruitment. We support financial services and insurance players in transforming their business and operations.
We are supporting a leading international private banking group that provides alternative fund reporting services. We are currently looking to strengthen the operational team responsible for these services.
Your responsibilities
Operations and backlog management
• Take ownership of the reporting backlog: prioritise, process and deliver outstanding items.
• Handle day-to-day operations across the GP/LP lifecycle: capital calls, distributions, investor letters and quarterly reports.
• Ensure the accuracy and consistency of reported information, including NAV, capital account statements and performance figures.
• Chase and follow up on missing documents and data with GPs, third parties and internal stakeholders through the internal document management workflow.
• Escalate recurring issues and propose practical improvements to working practices. Stakeholder management
• Act as a senior point of contact on reporting matters.
• Explain issues and delays clearly, manage expectations and enhance processes to guarantee the quality of deliverables. Expertise and coaching
• Share technical knowledge of alternative fund mechanics with the team in the course of daily work.
• Coach and upskill team members so they can handle complex cases independently.
Your profile
• At least 10 years of experience in alternative investments (private equity, private debt, real estate or infrastructure).
• Background in audit (Big 4 or equivalent), valuation, fund accounting or investor servicing, at a fund administrator, ManCo or GP.
• Strong hands-on command of GP/LP mechanics: capital calls, distributions, waterfalls, NAV, capital account statements and investor reporting.
• Knowledge of market reporting standards; familiarity with ILPA guidelines is an asset.
• Comfortable working with document management and workflow tools.
• Able to work with autonomy, rigour and a sense of priorities under deadline pressure.
• Credible with senior stakeholders, with a genuine interest in coaching others.
• Fluent in English and French, written and spoken. If your experience aligns with the above description and you are quickly available , please send your CV at jobs@mtmpartners.lu
