Investment & Finance Expert Position: Investment & Finance Expert Type: Hourly Contract Compensation: $175–$300/hour

Remote About the Opportunity This opportunity is for experienced Investment and Finance professionals with expertise in financial modeling, valuation, investment analysis, due diligence, capital markets, and financial analysis to contribute to advanced AI research and evaluation projects. You'll apply your finance expertise to evaluate AI-generated financial analyses, develop expert-level investment scenarios, create reference answers, and provide structured feedback that helps improve how next-generation AI systems reason about valuation, markets, financial models, and real-world investment decisions. No prior AI experience is required. Responsibilities
• Evaluate AI-generated financial analyses, valuation models, investment recommendations, and market assessments.
• Develop expert-level financial prompts, investment scenarios, and reference answers grounded in real-world transaction and investment experience.
• Review financial models and identify errors, weak reasoning, unrealistic assumptions, and analytical gaps.
• Analyze complex scenarios involving valuation, financial modeling, capital markets, due diligence, and investment analysis.
• Assess AI responses for financial accuracy, logical reasoning, methodology, and real-world applicability.
• Provide detailed, structured feedback to improve AI financial reasoning and decision-making capabilities.
• Apply professional judgment to realistic investment banking, private equity, venture capital, hedge fund, and growth equity scenarios.
• Collaborate with project teams to maintain high standards of financial accuracy and evaluation quality. Required Qualifications
• At least 1 year of professional experience at a well-known financial firm or legitimate startup in investment banking, private equity, venture capital, hedge funds, or growth equity.
• At least part of this experience should have been within the past 7 years.
• Strong expertise in financial modeling, valuation, investment analysis, and financial markets.
• Experience with due diligence, capital markets, transaction analysis, or investment decision-making.
• Strong proficiency in Excel and financial modeling methodologies.
• Excellent analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong written communication skills with the ability to explain complex financial concepts clearly.
• Undergraduate degree from a top-ranked university.
• Based in an English-speaking country. Preferred Qualifications
• Experience working in investment banking, private equity, venture capital, hedge funds, or growth equity.
• Experience building detailed DCF, LBO, comparable company, precedent transaction, or other valuation models.
• Strong understanding of capital markets, transaction structures, financial statements, and investment strategies.
• Experience creating investment memos, financial analyses, deal materials, or transaction documentation.
• Familiarity with AI, machine learning, financial data annotation, or AI model evaluation is a plus.
• Experience providing expert reviews, financial training, or analytical feedback is advantageous. Compensation
• Competitive compensation of $175–300/hour.
