KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
•Advising on Luxembourg and EU fund regulation, including UCITS, AIFMD, SIF, RAIF, ELTIF, PRIIPs and SFDR •Drafting and reviewing prospectuses, articles of association and regulatory documentation •Supporting new fund launches, mergers, liquidations and prospectus amendments •Managing regulatory submissions and interactions with the CSSF •Providing legal advice on new products and fund structuring •Supporting fund governance, including board meetings, shareholder meetings, minutes, resolutions and corporate filings •Monitoring regulatory developments and assessing their impact on products How do we imagine our Fund Legal Counsel? •Qualified lawyer or legal professional with relevant experience in Luxembourg investment funds, asset management, a law firm, management company or financial institution. •Strong understanding of Luxembourg fund structures and the European investment management regulatory environment. •Ability to analyse complex regulatory requirements and translate them into practical solutions for business teams. •Strong legal drafting skills, particularly in relation to investment fund documentation. •Experience dealing directly with the CSSF and managing regulatory approval processes. •Ability to manage several fund launches, amendments and corporate matters simultaneously. •Strong organisational skills and attention to detail. •Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with business teams, compliance functions, fund directors and external advisers. •Professional fluency in English.
