Senior Specialist, Finance and Commercial Management
Role Description Summary
The incumbent will provide deal counsel to the Sales Team in support of our company’s global revenue growth efforts and commercial transactions. S/he will advise on specific, revenue-optimized deal structures, with a thorough understanding of our commercial guidelines. S/he will be responsible for actively supporting negotiations of complex commercial transactions with customers. S/he will serve as a focal point bringing together regulatory, corporate, legal, pricing, product, engineering, and finance to support commercial transactions and provide critical deal and proposal support to new and renewal services.
Primary Responsibilities / Key Result Areas
Support negotiations and structure of global contracts
Support pipeline development, advise on complex deal structure, deal profitability and manage timely escalations of strategic deals
Drive deal progress and approvals within SFDC
Guide asset strategy and optimization by vertical; escalate decisions where there is contention for capacity; support yield optimization
Review and assist on budget development
Support our global pricing strategy
Work closely with Revenue Accounting to fully understand and communicate revenue recognition of complex deals, highlighting impacts to budget as necessary
Develop deal summaries and escalation write-ups by following established templates when deal parameters exceed established guidelines
Assist management in monitoring pricing and market trends
Deal review, optimization, and escalation per Commercial Guidelines (Corporate Governance Matrix)

Qualifications & Experience
University degree
At least five (5) years of relevant experience in revenue support
Expertise in pricing, negotiations
Strong analytical, quantitative, Excel/modeling skills
Familiarity with financial modeling
Demonstrated aptitude to learn quickly and adapt to the complex nature business
Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office software suite (MS Excel, Word and Outlook)

Fluency in English
