Palana is a leading Advisory, Managed Services and Technology firm based in Luxembourg, specialising in the investment fund and banking industry and broader financial services sector. We support leading asset managers, fund administrators and financial institutions across a wide range of asset classes. As a Trainee within our Strategy, Regulatory & Compliance team, you will work alongside experienced consultants on real client engagements, supporting financial institutions in navigating regulatory requirements, strengthening governance frameworks and addressing operational challenges. From day one, you will contribute to client deliverables while developing your understanding of the Luxembourg and European financial regulatory environment. This role offers hands-on exposure to a broad range of regulatory, compliance and operational topics in a collaborative and fast-paced advisory environment. Your responsibilities
• Support client engagements across regulatory, compliance and operational topics.
• Assist in preparing client deliverables, including presentations, reports and analyses.
• Contribute to the review and drafting of policies, procedures and control frameworks.
• Conduct research and analysis on regulatory developments and industry topics.
• Use digital and AI tools to support research, analysis and efficient delivery.
• Contribute to internal knowledge initiatives and continuously develop your understanding of the financial industry. What we are looking for
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in progress in Law, Economics, Business, Finance or a related field.
• Structured and rigorous approach with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Genuine curiosity and a strong willingness to learn and develop.
• Proactive, adaptable and collaborative mindset.
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
