KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
•Review resilience measures, contingency procedures and business workarounds for High and Very High critical activities. •Assess whether procedures are practical, realistic, actionable and aligned with the relevant BIAs. •Challenge existing contingency arrangements and provide practical recommendations for improvement. •Work closely with BCM and business teams to understand operational needs, dependencies and constraints. •Design and facilitate tabletop exercises and testing scenarios. Assess the effectiveness of contingency procedures during testing and identify gaps or weaknesses. •Document findings, improvement actions and evidence of completion. •Maintain a structured approach to planning, tracking, documentation and archiving. •Provide clear written feedback and recommendations to business stakeholders. •Support increased awareness of resilience and contingency measures across the organization. How do we imagine our Business Continuity Consultant? •Strong experience in Business Continuity Management, operational resilience or a related field. •Hands-on experience reviewing and improving business continuity and contingency procedures. •Good understanding of Business Impact Analysis (BIA) and its link to continuity measures. •Experience designing and facilitating tabletop exercises and business continuity tests. •Ability to assess operational risks, dependencies and recovery arrangements. •Strong stakeholder management and communication skills. •Ability to challenge business teams constructively and provide practical solutions. •Strong planning, organization and documentation skills. •Ability to manage a high volume of information while maintaining clear traceability. •Autonomous, proactive and comfortable working independently. •Excellent written and spoken English.
