John Zink (JZ) part of Koch Engineered Solutions (KES), is looking for a Project Quality Manager. The project quality manager will be responsible for leading and supporting various projects from a quality point of view. In this role, you will be provided with opportunities to demonstrate your technical quality knowledge, interact with customers or internal stakeholders and lead transformation initiatives.

The range of products includes burners, flares, thermal oxidizers, boiler burners, and vapor recovery systems for John Zink Hamworthy Combustion entity.
The open position will be located in our JZ office located in Dudelange, GD of Luxembourg.
What You Will Do
Owning the quality aspect of various projects from project initiation till release of the equipment
Developing/reviewing the quality documentation (welding book, quality plan, procedure...) needed for the project to ensure compliance with customer requirements
Being the customer direct quality contact person for the assigned project to answer all quality related open points
Ensuring that quality control is performed as per expectations in-house or at sub-supplier premises through local inspector or by directly traveling to the sub-supplier
Following up on root cause analysis/corrective action in case of identified deviation
Working closely with project manager, engineering team, sales team and production department to support them as per business needs
Supporting the welding activity in the shop (Welder qualification, WPS, PQR), performing some NDT control (PT, PMI, visual inspection) and participating to shop inspection as per business needs
Developing your technical knowledge to become a quality expert for the company
Following and/or proposing improvement opportunities to improve the quality of our products
Having a problem-solving approach to constantly look for the best approach to any new challenge
Promoting knowledge sharing within your team but also within the company and supporting lesson learned process
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
Educational background in the field of engineering with a very strong knowledge on welding (IWE certification required)
At least PT2 certified with also good knowledge of RT processes
Excellent understanding of painting requirements
Fluent both in English and French.
Excellent organizational skills, problem solving mindset and accountability for your work.
Knowledge of international standards such as ASME and PED
Experience in pressure vessels, steel structure and skid fabrication
Good knowledge of manufacturing processes especially those related to process burners or flare.
Ability to travel at sub-supplier/customer for Pre-Inspection Meeting and/or inspection activity (expected 10-20% of your time)
What Will Put You Ahead
Previous successful experience in Quality Department
Higher certification for PT and/or FROSIO/NACE
Result oriented mindset
Knowledge of European directives (ATEX)
Former experience in oil and gas industry
