Who are we looking for?
The Distribution Operations Manager (Global Registration) is responsible for overseeing the registration, passporting, market access and ongoing maintenance of investment funds and share classes across global distribution jurisdictions.
The role supports the expansion and maintenance of fund distribution networks by ensuring compliance with applicable regulatory requirements, coordinating cross-border registrations, managing relationships with regulators and service providers, and providing strategic guidance on market access opportunities for UCITS, AIFs and other investment structures.
The Manager acts as a subject matter expert on international fund registration requirements and is responsible for ensuring that all filings, notifications, ongoing maintenance activities and regulatory obligations are completed accurately and within required deadlines.
The role works closely with clients, relationship managers, legal advisers, regulators, facilities agents, listing sponsors and internal stakeholders across the business.
What are the minimum requirements you need for the role?
• 5-7 years’ experience in fund registration, cross-border distribution or fund governance within the asset management industry.
• Strong understanding of UCITS, AIFMD, CBDF, NPPR regimes, UK OFR and international registration frameworks.
• Strong knowledge of international fund distribution structures and market access requirements.
• Experience managing registrations across multiple jurisdictions, including EU, UK and international markets.
• Familiarity with facilities agent, representative and listing arrangements.
• Experience managing or mentoring operational teams.
• Professional qualification in investment funds, compliance or regulation preferred.
• Experience working with Irish, Luxembourg and UK fund structures preferred.
• Experience interacting with regulators including the CBI, CSSF, FCA and other European competent authorities preferred.
• Experience working with stock exchange listings and facilities agent arrangements preferred.
• Knowledge of global distribution connectivity platforms and international distribution frameworks preferred. What is your role and your responsibilities? Global Fund Registration
• Manage the registration, passporting and ongoing maintenance of investment funds and share classes across EU, UK and international distribution jurisdictions.
• Coordinate initial market entry registrations, notifications and regulatory filings for UCITS, AIFs, ELTIFs and other investment structures.
• Maintain oversight of registration status, renewal requirements and ongoing regulatory obligations in all host jurisdictions.
• Provide strategic guidance on available registration routes, distribution structures and market access requirements. Regulatory Filings & Notifications
• Coordinate and submit regulatory notifications and registration applications under UCITS, AIFMD, CBDF, NPPR, OFR and other applicable regulatory frameworks.
• Manage pre-marketing notifications, material change filings and de-notification submissions where required.
• Liaise directly with regulators, legal advisers and local representatives regarding registration requirements and queries.
• Monitor regulatory developments and assess their impact on existing registrations and distribution activities. Ongoing Registration Maintenance
• Coordinate ongoing maintenance of fund registrations, including prospectus updates, financial statement filings, KIID/KID updates, share class additions and closures, material change notifications and regulatory reporting requirements.
• Ensure all jurisdictional filing deadlines are monitored and met.
• Maintain registration matrices and jurisdictional records to support audit readiness and regulatory oversight. Facilities Agent Services
• Coordinate the provision and maintenance of EU and UK Facilities Agent arrangements.
• Manage facilities agent agreements and associated contractual documentation.
• Liaise with facilities agents regarding operational requirements, regulatory obligations and fund changes.
• Maintain oversight of facilities agent appointments across all applicable jurisdictions. Listing Services
• Manage initial listing applications and ongoing maintenance of listed funds and share classes.
• Coordinate with stock exchanges, listing sponsors and legal advisers regarding listing requirements.
• Monitor ongoing compliance with listing obligations and reporting requirements.
• Support clients in evaluating listing options and associated operational considerations. Process Governance & Oversight
• Maintain and enhance Global Registration procedures, controls and operational frameworks.
• Identify operational, regulatory or service risks and escalate issues appropriately.
• Develop management information and reporting relating to service delivery, registration volumes, deadlines and risk indicators.
• Ensure maintenance of complete and auditable records supporting all registration activities. Team Leadership
• Manage, mentor and develop registration team members.
• Allocate work across the team to ensure service level expectations are met.
• Support recruitment, training and succession planning initiatives.
