Foyer Finance Avenir (FFA) is a Luxembourg-based General Partner operating from Luxembourg and London. We are wholly owned by Foyer Finance SA the holding entity of the Foyer Group insurance company and Luxempart SA.
FFA invests in a mix of venture capital, growth equity, and secondaries through fund commitments and co-investments, partnering with leading managers who back companies that are reshaping their industries. Our approach is selective, long-term and diversified, built on direct relationships with a concentrated set of managers. Our philosophy is to be proactive and pragmatic, we look for managers with a genuine edge in sourcing and supporting founders, and we back them with conviction.
The role:
We are looking for a proactive, dynamic, and highly motivated Private Equity FOF INTERN to join our growing team in Luxembourg. You will work in a small, transparent, and entrepreneurial environment with a flat structure. You will be expected to be self-motivated, to build your understanding of the investment process quickly, and to take on real responsibility across a range of day-to-day tasks.
Your mission:
• Support the screening and due diligence of venture capital, growth equity, and secondaries funds in Europe and the US, helping assess managers against our thematic convictions.
• Prepare investment committee analysis and materials for internal discussions and contribute to investor reporting.
• Gather and structure the data behind fund assessments and learn how we weigh institutional quality, sector focus, and geographic coverage.
• Contribute to the ongoing monitoring of our underlying funds, helping build visibility on portfolio exposures and spotting companies that may become co-investment candidates.
• Join calls, AGMs and industry events alongside the team, building your understanding of how manager relationships are formed and maintained.
• Help surface primary and co-investment opportunities by analysing insights from across the fund-of-funds portfolio.
Your profile
•
Education:
Currently enrolled in a Master's programme in Finance, Economics, Business or a related field, with a strong academic record.
• Analytical
skills:
Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with the rigour to produce accurate work. Critical thinking is imperative, able to challenge an AI output, spot where it is wrong, and stand behind the reasoning.
• Industry knowledge: Genuine interest in innovation and technology investing, combined with a good understanding of the funds industry: LP-GP relationships, portfolio performance metrics (IRR, TVPI, DPI), and standard fund terms.

Experience:
Previous exposure to the Investment or Asset Management industry such as in a Private Equity fund, investment banking, Big 4, a family office or corporate development.
• Technical: Excellent knowledge of Microsoft 365 (Excel, PowerPoint, Word etc.). familiarity with Power BI or Python is an advantage.
• Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication in English, able to produce professional materials for the investment team and investors alike.
• Teamwork and attitude: A proactive, precise, and well organised, team player who acts with integrity and is comfortable in a small team where priorities shift.
• Languages: Fluency in English is required; French, German or other European languages are a plus.
