Assistant Manager

About the role
We are looking for a motivated, hands-on professional with solid FATCA/CRS experience

Key Responsibilities
• Manage a portfolio of clients and coordinate their FATCA/CRS compliance obligations.
• Report to the Manager, Senior Manager or Director, providing regular updates on client matters, operational activities and team performance, and escalating complex issues when necessary.
• Perform FATCA/CRS classification assessments for Luxembourg investment funds, holding companies and other legal entities.
• Review FATCA/CRS documentation, including self-certifications, investor registers and supporting documents.
• Prepare, review and coordinate annual FATCA/CRS reporting, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and deadlines.
• Handle IRS registrations, GIIN applications and related updates.
• Act as a point of contact for clients, central administrators and internal teams.
• Supervise, support and review the work of Junior Officers, Officers and Senior Officers.
• Provide day-to-day guidance, coaching and technical support to junior team members, helping them develop their skills and autonomy.
• Ensure the accuracy and quality of deliverables through appropriate reviews and controls.
• Monitor FATCA/CRS regulatory developments, including CRS 2.0, and contribute to the implementation of new requirements.
• Contribute to improving internal procedures and reporting processes.
• Support the onboarding of new clients and the implementation of FATCA/CRS services. About you
• 3–5 years of relevant FATCA/CRS experience, preferably within a Luxembourg service provider, Big Four firm or fund administration environment.
• Good knowledge of FATCA/CRS regulations and their application to Luxembourg investment structures.
• Practical experience in FATCA/CRS classification, due diligence and reporting.
• Experience working with Luxembourg alternative investment funds (AIFs), particularly Private Equity, Real Estate and other investment structures, would be a strong advantage.
• Ability to manage client relationships and work independently.
• Strong analytical, organisational and communication skills.
• Good interpersonal skills, a collaborative mindset and a genuine interest in coaching and developing junior colleagues.
• Strong attention to detail, a proactive attitude and the ability to meet regulatory deadlines.
