Key Responsibilities
- Manage the month-end closing process and ensure accurate financial reporting
- Handle daily accounting activities including AP, AR and balance sheet control
- Prepare and oversee VAT returns across Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany
- Coordinate Luxembourg payroll administration and related tax declarations
- Monitor cash flow and support payment approvals and financial administration
- Liaise with external accountants, auditors, payroll providers and tax advisers
- Maintain compliant, audit-ready documentation and support process improvements
- Act as a local finance point of contact and support day-to-day coordination between Luxembourg and Rotterdam
Your Profile
- Solid experience in accounting and financial operations
- Strong knowledge of month-end closing and reporting
- Experience with VAT and cross-border finance processes
- Exposure to Luxembourg payroll administration is an advantage
- English is required
- German or french at B2 level
- Structured, reliable and able to work independently
- Comfortable in a practical role with both finance execution and coordination responsibilities
- Experience in shipping, logistics or another operational environment is a plus
