Job Description
Manage the systems environment as part of a team of technology specialists. Design and implement new infrastructure technology solutions. Design, provision and manage cloud infrastructure and related services. Drive continuous improvement of existing on-premises and cloud infrastructure through modernization, automation and operational excellence initiatives. Provide Tier 3 support and technical leadership for the investigation and resolution of complex infrastructure issues. Participate in on-call support for Tier 3 critical issues. Maintain technical documentation, configuration standards, operational procedures and infrastructure runbooks for new and existing systems. Support enterprise backup, disaster recovery and business continuity capabilities. Qualifications 5+ years of senior-level experience administering enterprise Windows Server environments, including Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP and related infrastructure services. Strong experience with Microsoft Azure, including IaaS/PaaS services, infrastructure automation, monitoring, governance, backup and recovery, and Identity & Access Management (IAM). Experience designing, migrating and modernizing on-premises workloads within hybrid and cloud environments. Senior-level support of Microsoft 365 services within a hybrid enterprise environment. Expert-level knowledge of Microsoft Hyper-V virtualization technologies. Experience administering enterprise storage platforms, including Pure Storage FlashArray, FlashBlade and SAN technologies. Extensive experience managing and implementing Cisco UCS or equivalent enterprise compute infrastructure in a globally distributed environment. Experience managing core infrastructure services including DNS, PKI/SSL certificates and related technologies. Working knowledge of cybersecurity principles and best practices related to infrastructure design, configuration management and operational support. Ability to effectively document and articulate infrastructure design, operational standards and support procedures. Strong PowerShell scripting and infrastructure automation skills. Experience designing and supporting enterprise backup, disaster recovery and business continuity solutions, including Veeam, Azure Backup and Azure Site Recovery. Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage competing priorities and adapt to changing business requirements. Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively engage technical and non-technical stakeholders. Ability to participate in an on-call support rotation and provide support outside standard business hours when required. Strong analytical, organizational and time management skills with attention to detail. Proven troubleshooting, root cause analysis and problem-solving capabilities in complex enterprise environments. Experience operating within an ITIL-aligned service management environment. Experience supporting infrastructure within regulated, audit-controlled or compliance-driven environments would be considered an asset. Experience with cloud-based telephony, unified communications or contact centers would be considered an asset. Experience administering Citrix NetScaler/ADC for SSL offload and server load balancing would be considered an asset.
