Your role 💼 For one of our clients, we are looking for an experienced Senior IT Quality Assurance Specialist to support the evolution and maturity of the software testing function within a complex enterprise environment. The role focuses on ensuring software quality throughout the product lifecycle, strengthening testing practices, improving quality standards, supporting test automation initiatives, and establishing a structured approach to software quality across multiple projects. You will work closely with Product Owners, Developers, Business Stakeholders, and external partners to ensure high-quality software delivery.

Key Responsibilities
Define and promote QA standards, methodologies, and testing best practices. Ensure software quality throughout the product lifecycle and act as a quality advocate across business and IT teams. Plan, coordinate, and oversee functional, integration, regression, and non-regression testing activities. Define testing scope and strategies within software releases and project deliveries. Support the implementation and evolution of test automation initiatives. Analyse defects, investigate root causes, and ensure effective defect lifecycle management. Improve test documentation, traceability, reporting, and overall testing quality. Collaborate closely with Product Owners, Developers, Business Stakeholders, and Project Managers to ensure high-quality software delivery. Identify opportunities to improve testing processes, quality standards, and delivery practices. Contribute to the definition of QA governance, testing methodologies, and quality metrics. Support the adoption of structured testing approaches and continuous improvement initiatives. Evaluate testing tools and techniques to improve testing efficiency and coverage. Requirements 💡 Proven experience in Software Quality Assurance, Test Management, Test Coordination, or Software Testing. Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, test planning, defect management, and quality assurance best practices. Experience with functional, integration, regression, and non-regression testing. Experience supporting or implementing test automation initiatives. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a structured and systematic approach. Experience working closely with Product Owners, Developers, QA teams, and Business Stakeholders. Ability to prioritize work autonomously while collaborating effectively within Agile delivery teams. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Fluent English. Nice to Have: ISTQB or similar Quality Assurance certification. Experience implementing QA frameworks, testing governance, or quality standards. Familiarity with Agile delivery environments and CI/CD practices. Experience with test management tools, automation frameworks, SQL, databases, or scripting for testing purposes. Knowledge of French, German, or Luxembourgish is considered an asset. 📍 Where: Luxembourg on-site 🌱
