A. is involved in a major reference data project for an European Institution in Luxembourg. The current team is too small to face all the challenges of this project which involves more and more European institutions. We are therefore looking for a Data Modelling Consultant (m/f/d) to reinforce our semantic web technologies project team . The technical expert is expected to support the development and maintenance of statistical and business related classification data used across the European Union. The Consultant will work with a major EU institution, providing know how and competences in SPARQL, Python and pipeline optimization. On a day-to-day basis you will interact with relevant open source based systems and work on the modelling, evolution and dissemination of high value semantic datasets. Minimum Requirements
• Proven knowledge of semantic web technologies;
• knowledge of RDF, SKOS/OWL, SPARQL;
• knowledge of related programming languages (e.g. Python..);
• minimum 4 years of experience in IT;
• ability to effectively plan, prioritise, and allocate resources across multiple projects, balancing competing demands and expectations;
• familiarity with tools such as widely used platforms for reference data management and sharing;
• very good command of English (C1 level) both written and verbal. Your tasks
• Reference data modelling;
• Reference data maintenance;
• Updating ontologies;
• Providing consultancy and training in data modelling;
• Designing of tailor-made data service offers for European Institutions;
• Project management tasks. Our offer
