About the role
At X-CITE we build our platform with AI coding agents. Our Product Developer Managers therefore take over the role of the classical developer: highly technical people who define what gets built, direct AI agents to build it, and verify the result. What you drive forward
• AI-agent-driven development: You direct AI coding agents to build and ship our platform’s features — writing precise specifications, reviewing the results, and keeping quality high.
• Agent harness roadmap: You own and advance our agent harness roadmap, turning the hardest efficiency and reliability gaps into a sequenced plan that ships measurable improvement.
• Cost-efficient agent turns: You establish transparency on token and tool-manifest overhead so every interaction gets leaner and customers pay less for the same outcomes.
• Reliable autonomous work: You drive deterministic code agents and reusable workflows that convert recurring project execution into dependable, repeatable results.
• Governed human oversight: You shape rule-based approval triggers so human-in-the-loop stays simple, auditable, and aligned with enterprise compliance.
• Connector ecosystem: You own the roadmap for the platform’s connectors (MCP and API), so customers can connect their business tools quickly, securely and under governance.

experience:
You improve SDK and tool-chain parity so builders can reach the full platform from their own environments and launch faster.
• Enterprise trust signals: You prioritize security, audit, and observability capabilities that give regulated buyers confidence to adopt and expand.
• Market positioning: You sharpen our story as the European, permission-aware agentic platform that turns AI from chat into reliable, governed, automated work.
• Growing the team: You coach two junior colleagues in directing AI agents and in product thinking. What sets you apart
• Degree in computer science, business informatics, engineering, or an equivalent practical qualification.
• At least 5 years of product management experience for B2B SaaS, platform, developer-tools, or AI/automation products.
• Track record shipping complex technical products from concept to adoption, ideally in agent platforms, orchestration, or enterprise AI.
• Strong technical depth: comfortable reading and reviewing code, working directly with AI coding agents, and with LLM concepts, APIs, integrations, and enterprise software delivery.
• Solid understanding of agent harness topics: tool calling, MCP connectors, memory, guardrails, observability, and human-in-the-loop workflows.
• Experienced with agile discovery and delivery, backlog management, and translating ambiguous customer problems into crisp requirements.
• Skilled at stakeholder alignment across engineering, security, sales, and customer success, with clear written specs and roadmaps.
• Comfortable owning pricing, packaging, and go-to-market input alongside product analytics and adoption metrics.
• Excellent English communication; French, German, or Luxembourgish are an advantage.
