Your role 💼
We are looking for an experienced IAM / IGA Specialist to support the operation, enhancement and continuous improvement of an Identity and Access Governance framework within a complex and regulated environment.
The consultant will work closely with Identity & Access Governance, Security, Infrastructure and Application teams, supporting identity lifecycle processes, access governance activities and the onboarding of applications into the IAM / IGA framework.
Key Responsibilities
Support Identity Governance and Administration (IGA) processes, ensuring the quality and consistency of identity, account, entitlement, role and certification data. Manage and improve Joiner, Mover and Leaver (JML) processes for employees, contractors and other identity populations. Support the definition and maintenance of RBAC models, business and technical roles, access profiles, entitlement catalogues and ownership structures. Configure and maintain access request and approval workflows, in line with least-privilege and governance principles. Monitor provisioning, deprovisioning and reconciliation activities, including failed actions, orphan accounts and uncorrelated accounts. Plan and support periodic access review and certification campaigns covering users, roles, entitlements, privileged access and application access. Track remediation activities resulting from access reviews, including access revocation, role clean-up, ownership reassignment and exception management. Support application onboarding into the IAM / IGA framework, analysing identity sources, account structures, entitlement models, approval requirements and provisioning/reconciliation needs.
Maintain traceability between IAM requirements, implemented controls, review outcomes and remediation actions, producing audit-ready evidence. Identify recurring weaknesses and propose pragmatic improvements to IAM / IGA processes. Requirements 💡 At least 3 years of hands-on experience in IAM / IGA operations, implementation or governance. Strong practical knowledge of Joiner, Mover and Leaver processes. Good understanding of RBAC, entitlements, access policies, least privilege and segregation of duties. Experience preparing or supporting access review / certification campaigns and remediation activities. Experience with access request, approval, provisioning, deprovisioning and reconciliation processes. Ability to analyse application access models and translate them into IAM governance requirements. Strong analytical, documentation, coordination and stakeholder-management skills. Professional fluency in English. Preferred Qualifications Previous experience in banking, financial services or another highly regulated environment. Experience onboarding applications into an IAM / IGA platform. Knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID, Active Directory and hybrid identity environments. Knowledge of Privileged Access Management, including solutions such as CyberArk. Understanding of REST APIs, LDAP, SQL and flat-file integrations. Experience with workflow design, reporting, dashboards, ITSM tools and control monitoring. Relevant IAM, IGA, Security, Audit or Governance certifications. Working knowledge of French is considered an advantage. 📍 Where: Luxembourg on-site 🌱
