Context and Objectives of the Engagement Client in Luxembourg is currently undergoing a big transformation program to replace its Core Banking System and update its payment processing capabilities. As part of this, the FTB/PAY team handles developing, maintaining, and providing Level 3 production support for apps that manage the full lifecycle of customer cash transfer orders. This covers everything from payment initiation, validation workflows, AML checks, processing, exception handling, to integration with internal and external payment systems. The bank wants to improve how it manages its IT systems, and to do this, it’s looking to tap into the service provider's expertise in IT project management support. In this context, the service consists of contributing to: 1. The delivery of strategic initiatives related to payments and cash management. 2. The interface between business stakeholders, operations teams, architects, developers, testers, and production support teams. Expertise Required: International payment ecosystems Instant Payments SEPA Credit Transfers TARGET Services (T2) Cash transfer and payment processing systems ISO 20022 payment messaging standards SWIFT and European payment schemes Analysis of complex functional requirements and system integrations AML-related controls within payment processes Strong SQL querying skills for data analysis and investigation. 2. Expected Deliverables The expected deliverables are: 1. Gather, study, question, and document business needs 2. Create solid Functional Specs and Business Requirement Docs 3. Lay out functional processes, business rules, workflows, and data mappings 4. Make sure requirements are implemented correctly 5. Plan out Testing Strategies, Test Plans, and Test Scenarios. 6. Functional testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT) 7. Keep an eye on testing campaigns, track defects, and make sure they're resolved with the stakeholders 8. Support change requests and evaluate the business impact of proposed updates 9. Handle change management and release management tasks 10. Help with production deployments and post-release checks 11. Provide support for production issues, including root cause analysis and coordination with tech teams 12. Investigate and reconcile data using SQL queries/XML 13. Follow banking regulations, payment standards, and internal governance rules 14. Maintain clear and complete functional documentation 15. Run successful testing campaigns with proper traceability 16. Ensure controlled and efficient releases 17. Resolve production incidents promptly 18. Deliver high-quality results that support Client in Luxembourg's Core Banking Transformation goals. 3.
