Junior Investment Operations Officer (Middle Office) Duration: Permanent, full-time

• Work in investment operations for a multi-asset investment portfolio, with exposure to private equity, hedge funds, private debt, infrastructure, derivatives and exchange-traded products.
• Develop a detailed understanding of the end-to-end operational infrastructure of institutional asset management, from post-trade processing and settlement through reconciliation, controls and reporting.

key responsibilities
Trade Operations & Settlement
• Support the full post-trade lifecycle for traded instruments, including booking verification, confirmation matching and settlement monitoring.
• Prepare and monitor cash movements relating to subscriptions, redemptions, capital calls, distributions, FX and derivatives, including margin and collateral movements, interest, coupons, resets and settlement events.
• Support the operational lifecycle of alternative investments, including subscriptions, redemptions, capital calls, distributions, closings and related documentation.
• Monitor corporate actions and coordinate the required instructions, bookings and follow-up.
• Follow up with custodians, brokers, and fund administrators to resolve settlement or instruction-related issues.
• Monitor the shared operations inbox, assess incoming requests and ensure timely allocation and follow-up. Reconciliations, Controls & Reporting
• Perform cash, position, and trade reconciliations between internal records and external counterparties.
• Investigate and resolve breaks, ensuring accurate reporting, appropriate escalation and clear control documentation.
• Support month‑end EMIR control checks and ensure data completeness and consistency.
• Support internal operational and portfolio reporting, ensuring that positions, cash balances, and transaction data are complete and accurate.
• Support NAV and shadow NAV reviews and investigate discrepancies with fund administrators, custodians, Finance and Risk. Process Support & Investment Onboarding
• Maintain and enhance internal trackers, databases, and process documentation.
• Collaborate with Portfolio Management, Compliance, Risk, Finance and IT on operational requirements and issue resolution.
• Support the operational onboarding of new investments and counterparties, including account setup, settlement instructions, documentation, KYC/AML coordination, and internal approval workflows.
• Assist with due diligence, audit requests, and ad‑hoc operational projects.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement and, where appropriate, automation of operational processes and controls.

Your Profile
We are looking for a motivated, detail-oriented individual who is eager to build strong expertise in investment operations. The ideal candidate will have: Education & Experience
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.
• 2-3 years of experience in investment operations, fund administration, custody, asset management or a similar financial services environment is preferred; exceptional graduate candidates with relevant internships or exposure will also be considered. Skills & Competencies
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Good understanding of financial instruments (funds, equities, FX, derivatives).
• Strong Excel skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Clear and professional written and verbal communication.
• Reliable and comfortable working in a dynamic environment. Languages
• Fluent English required (written and spoken).
