Luxembourg Odysseus Space is looking for a full-time senior mechanical & thermal engineer, who will help Odysseus Space to achieve its goals, in collaboration with the rest of the team. The engineer will join our headquarters in Luxembourg. Qualifications Holds a master’s degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent. Have at least 10 years of professional experience in the relevant field. Has experience with both mechanical and thermal FEA. Has experience writing quality technical documentation. Has a citizenship from a member state of both EU and NATO. Responsibilities Design, analyse, procure, assemble and test mechanical parts and mechanisms of (space and ground) terminals or mechanical ground support equipments. Develop mechanical and thermal requirements in line with systems requirements. Manage the mechanical and thermal department (task clarifications, inputs & outputs verifications, support incremental development of the team and best practices). Perform mechanical and thermal analysis. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure development in line with requirements Support the testing and validation activities.
