Our Luxembourg Actuarial & Insurance team is experiencing strong growth and is looking for a Senior Life Actuarial Consultant starting in November 2026 to support leading insurers, reinsurers and international groups in their transformation journeys.

As a Senior Life Actuarial Consultant, you will be involved in high-value projects covering the full actuarial value chain.
Life Insurance Audit & Advisory
• Review and validation of Life insurance technical provisions under Local GAAP, Solvency II and IFRS frameworks
• IFRS 17 implementation, financial reporting and audit support
• Solvency II audit and actuarial assurance assignments
• Review of embedded actuarial assumptions, model governance and actuarial methodologies
• Pension and employee benefit valuations under IAS 19 Strategic Life Insurance Consulting
• Transformation of actuarial and finance functions
• Solvency II and capital management projects
• ORSA development and Enterprise Risk Management initiatives
• Product profitability and value creation analysis
• Support on Life insurance product developments and business strategy
• Actuarial model review, modernization and automation Management & Business Development
• Supervise and coach junior actuaries
• Contribute to business development initiatives and client proposals
• Develop thought leadership through market studies, publications and industry events
• Help expand our Life actuarial offering in Luxembourg and across Europe Profile
• Master's degree in Actuarial Science
• 3 to 7 years of experience within Life Insurance, actuarial consulting or audit
• Qualified or nearly qualified actuary (IA, IFOA, SOA, CAS or equivalent)
• Strong expertise in:
• Life Insurance reserving
• Solvency II
• IFRS 17
• Capital management
• Risk Management and ORSA
• Knowledge of actuarial modelling tools such as Prophet, Moses or equivalent is highly appreciated
• Programming skills in VBA, R, Python or similar tools
• Fluent English is essential, French is highly valued
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
• Client-focused mindset
• Ability to communicate complex actuarial concepts in a clear and impactful way
• Entrepreneurial spirit and willingness to contribute to the growth of the practice
• Strong team-player with leadership potential
