Violin Teacher
Permanent role, part-time (working day Wednesdays, including after school (15:15-17:30) approximately 6 hours per week)
Required for September 2026
Job purpose:
To carry out professional duties and to be responsible for teaching violin lessons on a one-to-one basis for an assigned list of students
To prepare student for winter and summer recitals
To prepare eligible students for live examination
To be responsible for the safety and welfare of the students. To promote the aims and objectives of the school and maintain its philosophy
You will have:
Teaching and/or music-related qualification – essential
Proven record of outstanding teaching
Experience of teaching orchestral percussion and drum kit to a wide variety of ages
An international minded outlook
A creative approach to teaching and supporting students in their development in both technique and performance
