The opportunityWe are looking for an experienced, hands-on architect who wants to take responsibility for complete projects—from design development and building permits to construction delivery and handover. You will work closely with the founder on the design direction, while enjoying genuine autonomy in technical development, coordination and execution.
What you’ll do
· Develop and correct architectural plans; prepare building-permit submissions in line with local regulations.
· Produce execution drawings, construction details and practical solutions for complex existing buildings.
· Prepare specifications, bills of quantities, tenders and bid comparisons.
· Coordinate consultants and contractors, supervise site works and lead projects through handover.
· Lead site meetings; promptly document decisions, actions and progress in clear written reports.
· Track schedules, hours, costs, budgets and risks; anticipate buildability issues and resolve problems on site. What you bring
· Architectural qualification and substantial professional experience, ideally with independently delivered projects.
· Strong drafting/CAD or BIM, technical detailing and knowledge of construction materials and methods.
· Confidence interpreting planning regulations and preparing permits, tenders and site documentation.
· Autonomy, sound judgment, strong written communication and a commitment to timely, cost-conscious delivery.
· Fluent French and English; German and/or Luxembourgish is a strong advantage.
· Heritage renovation experience, OAI registration or eligibility, and team-management experience are advantages. You can develop an agreed design vision rather than requiring sole creative control, and you are comfortable taking ownership without constant supervision.
