You’ll join a team at the center of fund oversight, helping protect clients and investors through strong controls, responsive partnership, and reliable execution. This is an opportunity to build hands-on experience across depositary oversight, stakeholder management, and regulatory frameworks in a growing and evolving environment. As a Depositary Oversight Analyst at JPMorganChase within the Luxembourg Depositary team, you will support oversight activities and day-to-day client service while learning how depositary responsibilities are delivered in practice. You will work closely with colleagues and service providers, contribute to accurate reporting and issue management, and help ensure actions are tracked through to completion. Job Responsibilities
• Support depositary client managers in the delivery of depositary oversight activities and service capabilities during a period of regulatory evolution and business growth.
• Assist with the day-to-day support of depositary client relationships, including preparing client-facing materials and communications under supervision, and ensuring follow-ups are tracked and completed.
• Partner with internal stakeholders to help ensure fiduciary responsibilities are satisfactorily discharged, escalating issues where appropriate.
• Support the organization of regular client meetings, presentations, and due diligence requests by coordinating inputs, preparing documentation, and tracking actions to closure, including attending selected client calls/meetings to support note-taking and action tracking.
• Perform defined depositary support tasks in line with the applicable operating model and regulatory framework (e.g., cash flow monitoring support, recordkeeping/ownership verification support, valuation oversight support), under supervision.
• Assist with monitoring, logging, and tracking client issues, breaches, errors and other significant matters affecting the funds, ensuring timely escalation and closure.
• Develop and sustain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders through responsive communication and reliable execution, including professional interaction with clients and service providers.
• Support onboarding and ongoing operating model maintenance, including oversight setup activities, system mappings, data validations, and process documentation.
• Prepare and maintain routine and ad-hoc reporting (oversight metrics, dashboards, trackers), ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timely delivery, including producing summaries suitable for client discussion.
• Get involved in Projects and process improvement initiatives for depositary activities, including testing support, data gathering, and action tracking. Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
• Master degree in Mathematics or Finance.
• Interest in Luxembourg fund oversight (UCITS and AIFMD) and willingness to learn relevant CSSF (Commission de Surveillance du Secteur Financier) Circulars and Regulations.
• Good communication skills (English), with the ability to produce clear written updates and support professional client interactions (emails, meeting preparation, and follow-ups) under supervision.
• Strong attention to detail, sound judgment, and the ability to follow procedures and controls in a regulated environment.
• Strong analytical skills and comfort working with data (e.g., Excel), including reconciling information, identifying exceptions, and spotting trends.
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks, track actions to completion, and meet deadlines.
• Proactive mindset, high integrity, and strong teamwork skills, with the ability to escalate issues appropriately and support the wider Depositary team effectively. Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
• Basic understanding of the Luxembourg fund industry and key fund service providers (e.g., AIFM, administrator/transfer agent, custodian) is preferred.
• Entry-level experience or internship exposure in financial services; experience in funds, custody, or depositary services is beneficial. J.
