Senior Microsoft Fabric Consultant

As a Senior Microsoft Fabric & Data Solutions Consultant, you will:
• Design and implement modern enterprise data platform solutions using Microsoft Fabric, including Lakehouse, Data Warehouse, OneLake, and Data Factory pipelines.
• Develop and optimize data ingestion, transformation, and integration workflows using ETL/ELT methodologies across cloud data platforms.
• Build and maintain enterprise-grade Power BI reports, dashboards, semantic models, and business intelligence solutions.
• Perform advanced SQL scripting, data profiling, cleansing, validation, and transformation to ensure data quality, consistency, and performance.
• Design scalable data architectures and integrate data from multiple enterprise systems using Microsoft Fabric and Azure data services.
• Work with Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Databricks, Delta Lake, and other data engineering technologies to support enterprise analytics requirements.
• Define data lineage, governance, and data modelling standards to improve data quality, traceability, and operational efficiency.
• Assess existing data platforms, identify architectural gaps and governance redundancies, and recommend modernization and migration strategies.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, IT teams, data engineers, and senior leadership to gather requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.
• Lead technical and functional analysis, requirements documentation, Agile delivery activities, testing strategies, defect management, and user acceptance testing.
• Provide technical guidance and independently manage complex data platform initiatives in a client-facing environment. What You Bring to the Table:
• 8+ years of professional experience in IT consulting, data platforms, business intelligence, analytics, and enterprise technology solutions.
• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric, including Lakehouse, Data Warehouse, OneLake architecture, and Data Factory pipelines.
• Extensive experience in Power BI development, semantic modelling, enterprise reporting, and data visualization.
• Strong proficiency in SQL scripting, data transformations, data profiling, and data validation.
• Experience with Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Databricks, Delta Lake, and cloud-based ETL/ELT integration.
• Strong understanding of enterprise data architecture, data lineage, governance, data modelling, and platform modernization.
• Experience in designing scalable data solutions and optimizing data integration workflows across multiple business domains.
• Proven experience in business requirements gathering, technical and functional analysis, and stakeholder management.
• Familiarity with Agile delivery, BRD/SRS documentation, Jira, system integration testing, defect management, and UAT.
• Experience working in enterprise consulting and global business environments, preferably across telecommunications, financial services, or other large-scale organizations. You should possess the ability to:
• Work autonomously and take ownership of end-to-end data platform deliverables.
• Translate complex business requirements into scalable, secure, and maintainable data architecture and analytics solutions.
• Engage directly with business and IT stakeholders and facilitate alignment across cross-functional teams.
• Analyze legacy data environments, identify improvement opportunities, and develop actionable modernization roadmaps.
• Troubleshoot complex data integration and quality issues while ensuring optimal platform performance.
• Communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical teams and senior business stakeholders.
• Drive solution-oriented decision-making and deliver measurable business outcomes.
