You will:
• Support the administration and daily operation of Windows and Linux servers hosted in Microsoft Azure.
• Monitor IT systems, infrastructure and related applications using monitoring tools such as Checkmk, Grafana, Nagios or similar platforms.
• Investigate and resolve incidents, service requests and operational issues within your area of responsibility.
• Assist with patching, vulnerability remediation and operating system upgrades to maintain a secure and stable environment.
• Work closely with the Cybersecurity team to implement security recommendations and resolve identified vulnerabilities.
• Participate in infrastructure projects, including system migrations, upgrades and platform improvements.
• Support the operation of middleware technologies such as Apache Tomcat and related application services.
• Contribute to the automation of recurring operational tasks using PowerShell, Bash or similar scripting languages.
• Collaborate with other IT teams, including Networking, Modern Workplace, Security and Integration teams.
• Maintain accurate technical documentation, procedures and knowledge base articles.

Your Profile
• Degree or professional qualification in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
• Initial experience in IT Operations, Systems Administration, Infrastructure Support or a similar technical role.
• Good working knowledge of Windows and Linux server environments.
• Basic experience with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure, AWS or Google Cloud.
• Understanding of system monitoring, alerts, logs and performance management principles.
• Exposure to scripting or automation using PowerShell, Bash or another scripting language.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to learn, develop new technical skills and grow into a broader engineering role.
• Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Comfortable working in a collaborative team environment.
• Good written and spoken English. The Following Would Be Considered an Advantage:
• Experience with Microsoft Azure virtual machines and cloud infrastructure.
• Experience with Red Hat Linux environments.
• Exposure to vulnerability management, patch management or cybersecurity best practices.
• Experience with middleware technologies such as Apache Tomcat.
• Microsoft, Red Hat or other relevant IT certifications.
• Experience participating in technical projects or system migrations. Working

Conditions:
• Full-time permanent position based in Luxembourg.
• The candidate will work in a Agile, friendly, innovative & operational Azure only environment.
• Normal office hours are to be expected, with occasional work outside these hours to perform tasks (planned or unplanned) on the environment.
• The position holder might have to be on stand-by outside the normal office hours and weekends in case of incidents. It is expected that during critical incidents the candidate can commit to resolving the incident to the end if required.
• Valid car drivers license.
• Be willing to travel as required by our international organization (more than 50 different countries).
• A Certificate of good conduct (casier judiciaire, Polizeiliches Führungszeugnis) will be required in case of positive selection.
• The internal title of the position would be Specialist IT Systems and Middleware Support.
