What you will do
We are looking for someone who combines strong financial and analytical skills with curiosity, sound judgement and the confidence to work with stakeholders across an international organization.
As a Structured Finance Analyst, you will play an important role in helping Johnson Controls develop financing solutions that support our customers and commercial growth across EMEA, with opportunities to contribute to selected activities in APAC.
Reporting to the Structured Finance Manager, you will support the full lifecycle of customer financing transactions, from identifying opportunities and assessing financial viability through structuring, execution and ongoing portfolio management.
This is an opportunity to build broad, hands-on experience across structured finance, leasing, receivables financing and third-party funding solutions while partnering with colleagues and stakeholders across multiple functions and geographies. As your expertise develops, you will have the opportunity to take increasing ownership of structured finance activities across EMEA and contribute to strategic financing initiatives with wider business impact.
How you will do it
• Partner with Sales, Business Units and customers to identify financing opportunities and develop solutions that strengthen customer value propositions and support commercial objectives.
• Support commercial teams by providing financing guidance, contributing to pipeline management and sharing your knowledge of available financing solutions.
• Perform customer due diligence, financial analysis and credit assessments in partnership with Global Credit.
• Support the structuring and pricing of financing solutions and prepare financing proposals, approval materials and transaction documentation.
• Coordinate transaction execution across multiple stakeholders, including Sales, Legal, Tax, Accounting, Global Credit, customers and external financing partners.
• Monitor the performance of the financing portfolio, including covenant compliance, financial performance and emerging portfolio risks.
• Support ongoing servicing activities, receivables assignments, portfolio reporting and operational follow-through.
• Ensure transactions are managed in line with internal policies, governance requirements, approval processes and control frameworks.
• Contribute to process improvements, management reporting and strategic funding initiatives.
• Build effective relationships across regional and global teams, using your financial expertise and commercial mindset to help move opportunities from initial concept through execution. What we look for Required
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Solid understanding of financial statements, accounting principles, and cash flow analysis.
• Familiarity with financing concepts such as loan amortization, repayment structures, transaction pricing, and portfolio monitoring.
• Working knowledge of lending, leasing, receivables financing, or related corporate finance areas.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess financial information and communicate conclusions clearly.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Collaborative mindset, comfortable building relationships across functions, cultures, and geographies.
• Proactive and detail-oriented, with the confidence to take initiative and work independently.
• Commercial awareness paired with a disciplined approach to risk and governance.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Fluent English, with strong communication skills in an international business environment. Preferred
• Experience in structured finance, corporate lending, leasing, captive finance, receivables finance, project finance, transaction advisory, or treasury.
• Background in a multinational organization, bank, leasing company, captive finance organization, or professional services firm.
• Master's degree, MBA, or relevant professional finance/accounting qualification.
• Experience with financing, leasing, or loan management systems (Odessa experience is a plus).
• Familiarity with external credit information providers such as Dun & Bradstreet.
• Strong digital skills, with experience using finance systems, workflow tools, or reporting platforms.
• Additional European language skills, particularly French or Spanish.
