The EU STEP Fulfillment Optimization (FO) team is looking for a Process
Improvement Manager to own new initiatives/programs that fulfillment
optimization for European network. In this role, you will evaluate and scale
programs, build structured frameworks, size opportunities through data analysis,
and managing stakeholder alignment to directly impact cost, speed, and customer
experience.
Key job responsibilities
1. The ideal candidate is a highly analytical and critical thinker with advanced
problem-solving, data analysis skills and can drive initiatives that benefit
network cost and speed KPIs.
2. Identify and evaluate new programs requiring system (e.g. F2P) consideration
and design structured approaches to improve their performance.
3. The candidate will be responsible for metrics and measurement across promise
platforms and fulfillment optimization products to help evaluate inventory
placement, fulfillment capabilities, and carrier capabilities — connecting these
to objective metrics.
4. Your work will have a direct impact on Amazon's cost and customer speed — by
ensuring that new program opportunities are prioritized and receive the
structured ownership, stakeholder alignment, and analytical rigor they need to
scale.
5. Manage end-to-end program execution: define timelines, key milestones,
stakeholder alignment SLAs, and program-specific KPIs; coordinate
cross-functional alignment to ensure programs progress on schedule.
6. Interact with global stakeholders across SCOT, Supply Chain, and Operations
to identify EU-related programs and advocate the right tradeoffs at leadership
level.
7. Build and maintain analytics to track program/KPI health, including
opportunity sizing, what-if scenarios, and regular performance monitoring for
launched programs.
About the team
EU STEP Fulfillment Optimization (FO) sits within EU STEP Transportation Network
Optimization (TNO) and is responsible for optimizing order fulfillment across
Amazon's European network. We launch new products, features, analytics, programs
and decision frameworks that reduce cost while improving speed and reliability
for customers, working closely with central teams like SCOT and EU OPs. Basic
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in Math, Engineering, Science or Business Preferred
