Wholesale Banking Business Analyst / Customer Journey Expert

Our client, a major international bank based in Luxembourg, is looking for a Business Analyst / Customer Journey Expert, who will be working in the tribe Wholesale Banking Products & Channels.

Role overview

This role requires a significant knowledge of Wholesale Banking (incl. funds industry, custody and depositary bank activities), and Financial Market & Treasury products and processes. It combines a client-focused approach with analytical skills and result-oriented thinking and risk thinking.

Your key activities:

Requirements gathering & analysis

Collaborate with stakeholders to collect and clarify product-related requirements.
Truly understand our products, services, and end-to-end customer processes.
Analyze platform changes and process variations to identify risks.
Prepare clear and structured functional specifications for development teams.

Risk & compliance management

Conduct risk assessments on proposed changes and processes.
Ensure strict adherence to internal risk frameworks (e.g., NFR, ORM, KYC/AML, Fraud, Information Security) and proactively coordinate with 2nd line of defense teams to secure all required approvals.
Ensure compliance with applicable regulations and internal policies.
Monitor and address compliance gaps proactively.

Agile delivery & cross-functional collaboration

Actively participate in Agile ceremonies (planning, refinement, retrospectives, demos).
Work closely with Tech teams to ensure successful implementation of solutions.
Drive process simplification and harmonization across functional lines.
Contribute to team dynamics and foster collaboration to achieve common goals.

Are you fluent in English and French (verbal and written)?
