We have an opportunity for an experienced lawyer to join our Tax practice in Luxembourg. You will work closely with senior fee earners on complex, high profile, domestic and cross border matters. About the role

In this role, you'll:

  • Assist clients on domestic and international tax matters;

  • Be actively involved in drafting, negotiating and reviewing documentation and memos;

  • Work with the corporate, banking & finance and investment fund practices on the tax aspects of transactions;

  • Conduct extensive legal research and monitor recent tax developments;

  • Manage projects with increasing autonomy;

  • Liaise with various parties, including advisors, legal authorities and service providers;

  • Pool all your best efforts, expertise, and dedication, while always maintaining as far as possible a team-spirit, consensual and collegial approach, in order to contribute to the success, growth and performance of the Company;

  • Be actively involved in the preparation of tax presentations (internal and external to clients or other third party);

  • Be involved in the external visibility of the tax practice and the firm by participating to the drafting of marketing material and attending external professional events (drafting of articles and newsletters, presentations, trainings, etc.).

About you – essential requirements

  • Master's degree in tax law, dual degree in business school/law would be an advantage.

  • 3-5 years of experience in the tax department of a law firm or in a tax firm/boutique.

  • Fluent in English and French.

  • Passed the CCDL or planning to do so.

  • Effective organisation and communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to interface at all levels and work autonomously.

  • Independent, dynamic, proactive, curious and motivated.
