**Summary**:
A global asset management firm based in Luxembourg requires an AVP within its global finance team to join its highly successful team that specialises in alternative funds. The role reports to the VP, to oversee the accounting and governance, for the complex and varied portfolio of fund structure activities while also identifying, designing, and driving continuous improvements across the business.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Act as higher authority for accounting queries.
- Review accounting aspects including statutory financial statements, investor reports
- Attend client board meetings to present quarterly information.
- Oversight and coordination of all client deliverables.
- Proposing improvements for the processes, enhancement of procedures and processes as well as the use of offshore resources and technology.
- Manage and review finalised audit queries.
- Manage, supervise, working closely with the implementation and onboarding teams.

**Role Requirements**:
The successful AVP will need to have a degree in Accounting, Business Administration or Economics. A qualified accountant (ACCA/CIMA or equivalent) with at least 7 years of experience working in the Fund/ Investment Industry, ideally from a Big 4 audit frim. Ability to manage expectations of senior stakeholders and produce high-quality work within agreed deadlines..
