The role

We are looking for a dynamic Investor - Product Europe Associate to join an international team of professionals in our Luxembourg office on a full-time permanent basis. You will be working alongside our global offices and in frequent communication with international teams so both teamwork and communication skills will be paramount.

Roles and Responsibilities
- Assist the Advisory & Investments Specialist team with product knowledge, documentation, and classification processes.
- Provide day-to-day support for advisory team functions, including portfolio monitoring, risk profiling, suitability assessments, trade placement, internal transfers, and documentation. Contact the client of the daily advisory business.
- Contribute to the Product Governance Committee by supporting the due diligence and approval process for new investment products and workflows across Advisory, Discretionary, and Execution-only business lines.
- Support the Product team in the selection of securities/instruments and preparation of investment proposals in accordance with EU MiFID regulations and respective client risk profiles.
- Collaborate with the Products team to implement investment strategies aligned with clients’ risk/return objectives, including mutual funds, ETFs, bonds, equities, structured products, hedge funds, and private equity offerings.
- Work closely with product specialists and bankers to support investment implementation and tailored product solutions.
- Participate in regular Portfolio Solutions / Advisory meetings and contribute to strategy discussions.
- Prepare and deliver internal and external portfolio performance reports.
- Partner with Advisory team across the BTG Pactual Group to develop investment strategies and optimize client portfolios.
- Support the preparation of pitch books, investment proposals, and other materials for client meetings.

Personal Qualities required
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or Economics.
- Fluency in English and Portuguese; proficiency in an additional European language is a plus.
- 3-5 years prior experience in Private Banking, particularly in a front-office role (preferably within Investment Advisory or as daily banker).
- Strong communication skills with the ability to build credibility and trust with internal stakeholders and clients.
- Demonstrated ability to thrive in a dynamic, innovation-driven environment with a focus on client service, collaboration, and entrepreneurial thinking.
- Team-oriented, with an international mindset and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders.
- High level of integrity and strong awareness of operational and investment risk.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 tools, especially Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Working knowledge of the Avaloq banking platform is preferred.
