We have strong ambitions for the Francophone market, which is one of the most strategic and rapidly growing markets within our Group. Within this context we are looking for a Senior Investment Advisor, based in Luxembourg:
Mission

Establish strong relationships with our advisory clients and help them achieve their investment objectives within their defined risk budget, through well-articulated and proactive tactical asset allocation recommendations and bottom-up investment selection.

Support the growth of our advisory franchise by teaming up with our private bankers during the client acquisition process.

Target markets: Luxembourg residents and European and International clients serviced from our Luxembourg business

Investment advice and portfolio management:

- Establish and maintain strong relationships with each advisory client
- Provision of personalised and suitable investment advice to each advisory client
- Ongoing monitoring of advisory portfolios (risk budget, performance, asset allocation)
- Provision of quarterly investment reviews to clients

Support broader investment teams:

- Support bankers in the client acquisition process (presentation of the service and ad-hoc portfolio analysis)
- Maintain a good understanding of the competitive landscape
- Presentations of market views and investment strategy for private bankers, clients and prospects
- Help in the transition of execution-only clients to advisory services

Generate investment ideas and communications:

- Contribute to internal advisory investment forums
- Contribute to the continuous development of our investment offering
- Create investment ideas and solutions across all asset classes
- Contribute to Lombard Odier publications

Desired Profile:

- University education and/or recognised diploma in Investment (CFA/CIIA)
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in an advisory (or portfolio management) function in a private bank
- Very good knowledge of asset allocation and portfolio management
- Extensive knowledge of markets across asset classes
- Advanced knowledge of equity markets
- Excellent client presentation and communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure, flexibility and autonomy
- Confidentiality, ethics, commitment to providing quality service and building strong relationships
- Good understanding of financial and reputational risks
- Fluent French and English, Dutch is an asset
