**Tax Advisor - German Boarder, Boutique Firm**

Located near the German border, this tax firm is perfectly suited for professionals living in Germany or the northern/eastern regions of Luxembourg, significantly reducing daily commute times.

Our client is a highly respected firm known for its expertise in tax compliance, advisory, structuring, as well as legal matters related to taxation. Their loyal and diverse client base includes both local and international financial institutions, such as private equity and real estate funds, banks, as well as _soparfi_ and other regulated or unregulated structures.

**Your Responsibilities**|** Tax - Finance - Accounting - Advisory - Tax Compliance**

- **Review** clients’ tax structures to identify opportunities for optimization while ensuring full compliance with Luxembourg and international tax regulations.
- **Liaise** with tax authorities, auditors, and legal advisors during audits, reviews, or specific requests.
- **Advise** on complex tax issues, including VAT, corporate income tax, and withholding taxes.
- **Draft** tax memos and maintain ongoing monitoring to keep clients updated on regulatory changes affecting their investment structures.
- **Assist** in preparing tax models, simulations, and projections related to restructuring or investment transactions.
- **Support** the onboarding process for new clients by reviewing documentation, collecting information, and facilitating initial communications.

**Profile and Career Path**|** Tax - Finance - Accounting - Advisory - Tax Compliance**

- **Minimum of 2 years**of experience as a tax advisor in **Luxembourg**; experience at a Big Four firm is a strong advantage.
- Fluent in both **German** and **English** to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues.
- Familiarity with financial vehicles, particularly **investment funds.**
- Highly organized, collaborative, and capable of working **independently** when needed.
- A **degree in taxation** is considered a strong asset.
