We are seeking to recruit an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to help in the After School Care area.

**Teaching Assistant (After School Care)**

Temporary Role - as soon as possible and on a need basis

After School Care are held from 3.15pm to 5.30pm

**Job Purpose**
- To supervise students in an after-school care setting.
- To engage in a wide range of tasks.

**Your Tasks**
- To Help students understand instructions, through repetition, rephasing and modelling.
- To show students how to use ICT to develop their learning.
- To select, prepare and maintain learning equipment and resources.
- To contribute to discussions of students' progress in their individual education plans (IEP etc.)
- To assist with the supervision of students outside lessons times i.e. in the playground or in the school grounds generally.
- To insist that students conform to the standards details in the school's policy on behaviour.

To ensure that safety and wellbeing of the students as per the school's policies.
- To establish a good relationship with students and colleagues.
- To promote self-esteem of the students.
- To promote inclusion.

**Your Profile**
- Experience from working with children
- Proficient in English. Any other language will be an asset.
- An internationally minded outlook.
- Flexible and empathic.

We are looking for an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant who can work on an ad hoc basis and sometimes on a short notice.
