Risk Manager

**Risk Manager (M/F)**:
**Job Overview**:
The **Risk Manager** is mainly responsible for conducting risk monitoring activities. The Officer should also be reliable on every risk management topics towards the clients, the management and the Board of Directors.

**Responsibilities and Duties**:

- Understand the company’s risk profile, help maintain and update the risk policies;
- Monitoring of Funds: Pre (in case of alternative illiquid mandates) & Post controls on Investment Restrictions and Investment Policies;
- Setting up regulatory, prospectus and internal rules in the control system;
- Update and monitoring of regulatory framework (ESMA, CESR, EMIR, etc );
- Risk Management for UCITS and AIFs as per the regulation, including risk profile exercise for both liquid and illiquid Funds;
- Participate in the valuation process to help the Valuation Committee with a specific focus on illiquid assets, such as private equity, real estate, private debt and infrastructure;
- Involved in regulatory reporting (AIFMD/Annex IV, UCITS risk reporting, ad-hoc requests ), be able to answer on any Auditors, Risk Managers or Portfolio Managers ad-hoc questions related to Risk Management;
- Production of indicators, risk analyses, possible overruns and executive summaries to the various stakeholders (Executive Committee, fund managers and Boards of Directors);
- Maintaining contact with fund managers or clients as well as with auditors (both internal and external);
- Taking part in different projects that involve the team, in particular those dealing with control tools used by the team.

**Qualifications**:

- Graduate in Finance/Mathematics/Economics or similar qualification;
- Fluent in English, French is an asset, other language can be considered as an advantage;
- High interest for the funds industry sector and more particularly for the risk aspects;
- Sound knowledge of investment fund regulatory framework with 2-5 years of experience in risk management and fund compliance;
- Experience with alternative illiquid funds would be considered as a strong advantage;
- Ability to effectively communicate with all teams and all levels of the organization;
- Strong organizational and computer skills;
- Being team player with an ability to work independently.Very good command of Microsoft Office;
- English is mandatory, any other language is a plus.
