Market Data Management Optimisation Expert

Are you looking for an opportunity to support key work underpinning investment projects throughout the EU? Come join our team supporting the work of a major public financial institution in Luxembourg. This institution is dedicated to safeguarding financial stability, and encouraging investment and confidence in the euro area.
As a Market Data Consultant, you will be responsible for improving market data management processes, increasing flexibility, reducing the risk of interruptions in business-as-usual processes, and setting a comprehensive framework for quality assurance measures. This role involves a combination of on-site and off-site work, with a commitment of up to 50% on-site.
**Technical Skills**:
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience with market data within financial services organisations (mandatory)
- Demonstrated expertise in market data management (mandatory)
- Knowledge of Bloomberg and Murex (mandatory)
- Proficiency in Python or Java (mandatory)
- Knowledge of other programming languages is a plus
- Experience in process reengineering and project management
**Competencies**:
- Excellent English communication and presentation skills
- Strong stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work efficiently remotely
- Proactive and autonomous
We are looking for an autonomous, empathetic person, used to resolving issues and thinking logically, with the ability to work within small development teams.
Applicants should be able to start in February 2025. This position can be offered as either a CDI or a long-term freelance contract.
