Manager, Tax Specialist (Tax team) will be responsible for managing multiple client engagements, in particular to ensure that the Tax returns (VAT, CIT & WHT) of our Luxembourgish & international clients are prepared. He/She will be responsible for supporting the development of Tax compliance practice in Citco. Also, he.she will have direct responsibility for building a team of Tax compliance officers working under him/her on these assignments. Finally, he/she will be in the lead to establish and expand good client relationships in close cooperation with our colleagues in the accounting practice.

Luxembourg/Europe

- Monitoring the delivery of high quality compliance services (CIT, VAT and WHT returns preparation, review and filing) to international clients of your own clients portfolio

- Handling queries from the tax authorities and dealing with Tax controversies

- Leading client meetings and training organized by our Group

- Building productive, long-term relationships with clients and colleagues, across a broad network, based on mutual respect

- Developing your colleagues’ talent by giving them technical support, by delegating them Tax issues and by supervising the VAT returns they prepare

- Supporting initiatives of Tax compliance automation processes

- Supporting, guiding and coaching Seniors and Juniors in the team and being involved in the further career development of your colleagues;
- Staying abreast of general business and economic developments and demonstrates an understanding of the client’s business and policies. Works with the client and engagement team to understand the client’s business and Tax needs,

- Acting as point of contact - liaise with your clients and colleagues with respect to Citco Tax compliance

- Following up on legislative changes and business changes in order to ensure that the systems and/or processes are updated

- Identifying issues and opportunities to continuously improve the Tax compliance processes

- Actively participating to the training and coaching session in your development plan to ensure continuous development of your technical knowledge- Experience of minimum 6 years in Tax compliance field;- Degree in Finance, Economics, or related discipline;- Have a very good command of both written and spoken English and French- Strong software skills
- Be a proactive team player with excellent communication skills- High degree of attention to detail and ability to multitask and prioritize- Have desire to learn and develop on an ongoing basis- Be able to adapt to new challenges- Have good analytical and problem solving skills- Working experience in related fields (Audit, Accounting or Taxation) is a plus, but not required
