We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Internal Auditor, desiring to work in a small and highly collaborative team environment. In our Internal Audit team, you will gain exposure to a wide variety of audit projects, in line with the University’s goals. Our broad audit universe is ranging from the impact of the pandemic and key support processes to sustainability topics and financial issues. You will take part to the institution digital transformation journey and contribute to increasing the data analytics capabilities of the audit team.

**Your Role...**:
Design and execute robust working programs for challenging audit topics.

Your key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Preparing the risk-based internal audit plan
- Executing whole segments of internal audits, incl. planning and supervision tasks depending on the mission
- Proposing practical and value-added recommendations to address control weaknesses and/or process inefficiencies
- Performing complex interviews with process owners
- Drafting reports regarding key results
- Contributing to the efficient organization and administration of the office
- Keeping track of the University’s business and its environment
- Engaging in continuous development regarding audit best practices and techniques

**What we expect from you**:

- Master degree or equivalent in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting/Audit or a similar field
- Professional certifications such as CIA / IRE/ ACCA/ CRMA are preferred
- At least 5 years of relevant work experience in external or internal audit. Your seniority and understanding of risks and processes allow you to design robust working programs
- Knowledge of data analytics tools to develop and implement data-driven audit strategies will be a strong asset (SQL, Python, R, Tableau or Power BI)
- Excellent command of English, fluency in French. German and/or Luxembourgish will be considered as an asset
- Expert user of MS Excel and other Microsoft products (MS Word, MS PowerPoint etc.)
- Ability to build relationships with both management and operational staff to become a trusted partner within the Institution
- Open-mindedness. Show natural inquisitiveness and healthy skepticism
- Ability to perform whole segments of audit missions autonomously while also being a strong team player
- Excellent time management
- Strong communication skills and excellent writing skills
- Adhere to the highest level of ethical conduct
