**About the role**:
**to the MAL, Head of Change.**

**Responsibilities**:

- Assists in the design and implementation of project and workstream plans; then tracks progress against benchmark. This requires engagement with relevant stakeholders across all levels of the MAL change programme.
- Prepares papers for key governance meetings and acts as a secretariat for such meetings: setting agendas, recording decisions and key actions, and tracking delivery of such actions thereafter.
- Assists with tracking value attributed to each project and monitors delivery of benefits against an agreed benchmark. This includes budget tracking.
- Delivers insurance business analytical support:

- Requirements gathering, elaboration and refinement sessions with key stakeholders to ensure change is properly specified.
- Analysing existing business processes, business requirements, and workflows to document the ‘as is’ environment and support with proposed ‘to be’ solutions.
- Preparation, reporting and deployment of test strategies, with the emphasis being on security, stability and scalability.
- Having a range of tools to support the target ‘end user’ such as documenting processes, mentoring, training and general aftercare post-integration.
- Embraces the corporate pillars of the Monument Re Group, both in terms of the day-to-day role (envisaged above), and the outward approach to the MAL change programme (the role is de facto a ‘brand ambassador’ for these corporate pillars as Monument continues to grow, particularly when acquiring new entities and portfolios).
- Supports with ensuring agreed and consistent storage of project artefacts. This is fundamentally important for the MAL change programme, adhering to good project audit governance.

**Role Requirements**:

- Preferred life insurance experience in Operations, Project Management, Change or Consultancy (5+ years).
- Suitable vocational qualifications or an appetite for study.
- Language skills: fluency in English, with knowledge of a second language a clear asset (French, Italian, Spanish, German).
- Detail-oriented.
- Strong organisational skills.
- Embraces change, enthusiastic and energetic.
- Ability to prioritise simultaneously multiple activities / projects in a timely manner.
- Good communicator with all stakeholders.
- Eager to learn and share knowledge.
- Experience with changing working environments and company cultures is an advantage.
