**Context**:
Cyber crimes such as phishing, scams, and data theft are increasing, putting organizations at risk. To combat these threats, organizations are turning to qualified cybersecurity teams equipped with cutting-edge technologies, including **artificial intelligence**(AI), that swiftly detect and counter malicious activities, fortifying networks against threats.

AI for cybersecurity uses AI to analyze and correlate event and cyberthreat data across multiple sources, turning it into clear and actionable insights that security professionals use for further investigation, response, and reporting. If a cyberattack meets certain criteria defined by the security team, AI can automate the response and isolate the affected assets. Generative AI takes this one step further by producing original natural language text, images, and other content based on patterns in existing data.

**Topic**:
Firewall vendors (Palo Alto Networks, Cisco, Fortinet, Checkpoint) have improved their cyber security products embedding AI features.

Your mission will consist of identifying and selecting those AI ecosystem.

You will have **to create a modular** and **repeatable** **AI** Cybersecurity Architecture **virtual** **platform,**to test AI-powered SOC tools from vendors (SIEM, SOAR, EDR, NDR).

**Tasks**:

- Evaluate different vendor solutions (e.g., Splunk AI Assistant, Microsoft Sentinel, Palo Alto Cortex XDR, etc..).
- Set up lab infrastructure (VMs, network simulation, attack scenarios).
- Document deployment procedures and integration points.

**What you’ll be doing**:

- Information system security issues and solutions
- The 3rd party vendor catalog from Cisco / Checkpoint / Palo Alto Network / Fortinet
- The use cases of each tool in the coverage of cyber security risks
- Putting these tools into practice in experimental environments
- Analysis of the benefits and constraints of the architectures identified

You will be part of the “Cybersecurity Practice” global team, composed of experienced security engineers either deploying technical solution and services on customer premises (Technical Services team), or managing client infrastructures hosted on shared platforms (Managed Services team).

During the internship, you will receive the support of a senior engineer as well as the team leader to guide you while defining the approach and milestones. You will also have the opportunity to participate in all the team meetings and activities, which will enable you to be immersed in the professional world and to be faced with day-to-day challenges encountered in the work environment.

**Knowledge, Skills and Attributes**:

- 5th year of a master’s degree or similar
- Familiar with traditional networking standards and concepts
- Strong interest in global technology, security, encryption and virtualization in particular
- Having knowledge of scripting language (e.g. bash, python ) would be considered as an asset
- Fluency in spoken and written in English is mandatory, and additional languages will be an asset
- Demonstrating problem solving and critical thinking skills
- Be capable of working both independently and as part of a fast-moving team
- Having a relevant work experience (e.g. internships, summer positions, school jobs, or first work experience) would be considered as an asset
