Citi enables clients to achieve their strategic financial objectives by providing them with cutting-edge ideas, best-in-class products and solutions, and unparalleled access to capital and liquidity. **Team/Function Overview** The function is rolling up to Citi Information Security Organization (CISO). **Role / Position Overview** As an Information Security Officer, you will be based in Luxembourg but will cover multiple Citibank Europe branches - Luxembourg, Belgium and the Netherlands. **Key Responsibilities**: The Information Security Operations (ISO) is a senior level professional responsible for driving efforts to prevent, monitor and respond to information/data breaches and cyber-attacks. The overall objective of this role is to ensure the execution of Information Security directives and activities in alignment with Citi's data security policy. **Responsibilities**: - Provide recommendations on IS aspects of projects and assess/report Corrective Action Plans to improve IS programs and initiatives - Escalate significant risks to the Regional/Sector IS Leadership for information or required actions - Has the ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervision. - Can exercise independence of judgement and autonomy, act as SME to senior stakeholders and /or other team members. **Development Value**: **Criteria/Qualifications** **Knowledge/Experience**: - IT and/or Information Security experience - You will ideally have experience working in financial services or an audit firm. Alternative large organisations may also be considered. - Proven industry experience **Skills**: - Good negotiation and communication skills - Ability to work with senior managers, translate information security risks to business language, advisory function regarding local legislations related to information security and cyber security. **Qualifications**: - Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience - Information Security certifications preferred, ie.
