**Knowledge Lawyer - Banking & Finance**
**Department purpose**
Our Banking & Finance department specialises in international banking work, syndicated lending, investment grade, leveraged acquisition finance, debt restructuring as well as local and cross-border real estate finance and fund finance deals. You will join a dynamic team advising lenders, sponsors and other relevant stakeholders requiring advanced legal advice for complex operations.

**Role purpose**
We are currently looking for a part-time (80%) Knowledge Lawyer to join our Banking & Finance team.

The role of Knowledge Lawyer requires technical skills, creative thinking and efficient administration, working with our in-house specialists. You will have the opportunity to produce exceptional, innovative client products and events to enhance our brand; you will also have an important role in facilitating the day-to-day working of the relevant local, regional and global practice and sector groups through training, meetings, and technical support. You will need a keen awareness of global and regional banking developments, the wider commercial and corporate landscape, combined with an eye for operational detail.

- You will have regular and direct interactions with partners, head of knowledge, head of knowledge tech, other knowledge lawyers, lawyers and other teams (including our Marketing/Business Development team)
- You will have direct client contact.
- You will support and advise lawyers with their legal research and other legal queries.
- You will coordinate the production and distribution of know-how materials.
- You will contribute to the writing of memoranda, articles, legal commentaries, marketing materials.
- You will draft, update, and manage transaction precedents, templates, memoranda, and practice notes.
- You will develop, update, and manage the know-how database.
- You will organise and prepare technical meetings and internal training sessions.
- You will develop, implement, and monitor know-how projects in the Real Estate Finance department.
- You will actively contribute to the development of knowledge tech tools.

**Key requirements**
- You hold a law degree (an LL.M. degree from an American or English university would be considered as an advantage) and you are qualified in Luxembourg or another European jurisdiction.
- You have a minimum of five years' experience in Banking & Finance within a law firm.
- You have excellent writing skills in French and English with a strong analytical ability.
- You are a dynamic, flexible, and proactive person, and have excellent communication and project management skills.
- You are fluent in both French and English. German will be an asset.
