Expert in Accounting (M/F/d) at AIM Luxembourg

Allianz maintains several investment vehicles (Allianz LuxCos) for alternative assets on behalf of the Allianz insurance companies. To administrate and manage these investment portfolios of more than 38bn Euros for equity, real estate and infrastructure in Luxembourg, a team of investment professionals was set up, providing investment management, accounting, controlling, legal and other operational services. To amplify our services we are searching for Expert in Accounting to join this team on a full-time basis.

**Job purpose/role** AIM Luxembourg maintains several investment platforms for alternative assets on behalf of the Allianz Insurance Companies. To administrate and manage these investment portfolios, AIM set up a team of investment professionals, providing investment management, accounting, controlling, legal and other operational services.

**Key responsibilities**
- Performing accounting (IFRS, Local GAAP) of LuxCos and portfolio entities in close cooperation with Allianz entities worldwide
- Performing financial reporting and planning for LuxCos and portfolio entities in close cooperation with Allianz entities worldwide
- Operate controlling and monitoring tools for KPI, cash flows and accounting
- Support in payments and cash flows of LuxCos and portfolio entities
- Provide transaction support

**Key requirements / Skills / Experience**
- 2-3 years of experience as Accountant in Luxembourg
- Recognized accounting qualification and experience corresponding to the duties and responsibilities
- Written and oral fluency in English required, working knowledge of German or French is a plus
- Deep interest and affinity for finance and investments, esp. for alternative investments
- High level of motivation, excellent communication skills, willingness to take on responsibility, strong team spirit and analytical skills
- Ability to work under tight deadlines
- Willingness to continuously learn and curiosity
- Excellent MS office skills, particularly in Excel and PowerPoint
- Strong team player
