The University of Luxembourg is an international research university with a distinctly multilingual and interdisciplinary character.
Under the Vice-rector for Partnerships and International Relations, the International Relations Office is responsible for developing and coordinating the international relations and activities of the University of Luxembourg. This involves providing support and feedback to the University management on international issues and concluding international agreements. Key tasks of the Office include, but are not limited to, preparing and assessing agreements with international partner universities, administering and promoting Erasmus+ mobility projects, leading digitalization projects relative to Erasmus+ mobility, administering and promoting staff mobility, coordinating international visits to and from the University, promoting international opportunities for students and staff members, coordinating the EURAXESS Luxembourg network and hosting the initiatives of the University of the Greater Region.
**Your role**:
Manage scholarship programs tied to the EU and donor funding. Participate in university-wide initiatives to raise the attractiveness of the university internationally:
- _Strategic Scholarship Management_: Coordinate the full lifecycle of scholarship programs, from promotion to disbursement. Align scholarship offerings with Unilu’s internal procedures
- _Donor-Funded Program Coordinatio_n: Support the preparation and submission of funding proposals to EU bodies and international donors. Ensure scholarship programs meet the criteria for continued and renewed funding
- _Governance, Compliance & Risk Management_: Develop and enforce policies that ensure legal and ethical compliance. Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies within scholarship operations
- _Data Management & Reporting_: Maintain a comprehensive database of scholarships, deadlines, and eligibility. Prepare reports for internal stakeholders and external funders
- _Communication & Outreach_: Develop communication strategies to inform and engage students. Promote scholarship opportunities through targeted outreach to maximize visibility and impact
- _Donor & Institutional Relations_: Build and maintain strong relationships with donors and funding agencies. Organize meetings and events with scholarship recipients and institutional partners
- _Student Support_: Guide students through the scholarship process with professionalism and empathy. Conduct workshops and information sessions to increase accessibility and understanding
**Your profile**:
- Master’s degree in a field relevant to the position
- Several years of professional experience in international collaboration
- Experience in higher education internationalization strategies
- Knowledge of Erasmus+ or similar Scholarship programs
- Knowledge of the Luxembourg higher education and research sector is considered an asset
- Experience in internationalisation of Higher Education frameworks such as student mobility, student exchanges, joint academic initiatives is considered an asset
- Fluency in English (written and spoken) and a good understanding of French. Knowledge of German and/or Luxembourgish are considered an asset
- Builds strong relationships and navigates effectively with diverse stakeholder groups
- Takes initiative in problem-solving discussions, offering solutions and working effectively within team to achieve common goals
- Articulate and Influential: Convey your skill in expressing ideas persuasively and making a positive impact
- The position may include travels abroad
